The thing that I kept hearing about The Matrix: Resurrections that made me just seek gifs of Keanu and Carrie was that... the Sisters didn't WANT to make it. At all. Supposedly the studio said they would with our without them... and the plot reflects that. It lacks heart and soul because it reflects the sheer business decision that made them agree.

How true any of that is? WHO KNOWS, it's Hollywood.
