Fannish 50 S2 Post 9: Le Sserafim and IU vs. Halmyungsoo
This is, AFAIK, Le Sserafim's first appearance in Halmyungsoo's web variety show. I tend to keep an eye out for his guests as he's someone who tends to invite all kinds of idols to appear. And, despite his curmudgeon-y personality, there's a lot of respect and charm underneath.
One thing that some ppl might not know is that Le Sserafim can be equal parts funny and chaotic. They all sass Halmyungsoo at different points and it's quite lulzy. This episode is a good example of how well they do in variety show-type of settings. Mild Trigger warning for food being a topic in the convo. Also they all have a late lunch or whatever.
IU and Halmyungsoo have a history in that she considers him one of her mentors as well as one of the first ppl who believed in her at a time she was trying to make it in the idol business. This is a more soft-hearted episode than not as they sit down to chat and sing a couple of songs.
