Batman Returns is my fave Holiday AND Valentine's Day movie, hahah. I love it to bits (and do own it on DVD and digital.) Michelle Pfeiffer is just ridiculous hot throughout, so I deffo hear you on realizing things after seeing her onscreen. I also dig the scene you mentioned; not only it's almost metatextual (who are Selina and Bruce without their alter egos?) BUT it's also the song playing on the background is Siouxsie Sioux and the Banshee's "Face to Face".

It sounds you are talking abt the Pattinson Batman movie. The whole aesthetic is quite dark. Hmmm.

Re the Matrix: Ressurections movie... *sigh* There were so many ways the movie would've been way better than the mess that was presented to all of us. I'm biter that we didn't get enough of Trinity aside from her connection to Neo.
